Today was the day that Shelley and I got to meet the Hilscher family, and make the dedication of the student lounge in the Litton Reeves Building to "Emily Jane Hilscher." The faculty arranged a beautiful dedication to this girl slain on April 16, 2007 at Virginia Tech.
Shelley, the girls and myself were so happy to do this for the Hilscher family, Virginia Tech and to start AOK off on the right foot.

OK....today was the day, that I met the Hilscher family and we dedicated the Student Lounge at the Litton-Reeves Building in her honor. The faculty arranged the dedication with faculty, family, and especially all of her friends on the equestrian team at Virginia Tech. The tears flowed openly and often as we talked about this young girl taken so young as a victim in the Virgina Tech murders on April 16, 2007.
An amazing family, and I'm now a Hokie!
